I’m Shekiva Young, a Graphic Designer and founder of Destined for Greatness Studios, based in North Carolina. I’m passionate about crafting thoughtful visual experiences through branding, editorial layouts, web and app redesigns, and digital or print media design. With a background in monument design, I’ve learned how powerful visuals can capture meaning, honor stories, and leave a lasting impact.

Born and raised in Ellenville, New York, creativity has always been a part of who I am. I’ve been drawn to art, color, and design since I was young, but stepping into the world of monument design is what truly sparked something deeper. Seeing how design could comfort families, preserve memories, and communicate emotion pushed me to take my passion further. That’s when I made the decision to continue my education and pursue a degree in Graphic Design.

Today, I blend that same heart, intention, and artistic drive into every project I take on, whether it’s elevating a brand, shaping a layout, or building a clear, engaging digital experience. For me, great design isn’t just about making something look good; it’s about creating visuals that feel meaningful, memorable, and true to the story behind them.
